Health Care
ProjectsOur Health Initiatives
Health is a major challenge in all disadvantaged communities, and our target population is no exception. Most families face significant knowledge gaps related to hygiene, nutrition, immunization, family planning, and birth spacing. Adolescents and elderly individuals also experience age-specific health concerns that require focused attention.
Alongside this, financial constraints often prevent families from accessing appropriate healthcare services. Many also need guidance to properly utilize available Government health facilities.
To address these issues, our Community Health Worker visits households daily to monitor their health needs and provide appropriate advice and support.
We conduct the following health activities in the community:
- Quarterly growth monitoring of children aged 0–5 years.
- Ensuring immunization through Government health services, along with offering selected vaccines such as Hepatitis-B.
- Regular community health check-ups conducted within the community.
- Health check-ups and awareness sessions for adolescents to address age-specific issues.
- Providing sanitary napkins to adolescent girls at subsidized rates.
- Offering nutritional supplements to adolescents to improve overall health status.
- Supplying essential medicines to geriatric patients to support their chronic and age-related health needs.
