Women Empowerment

Patriarchal values are deeply dominant in many parts of India. While urban areas—with higher literacy levels and better economic conditions—show a comparatively reduced influence of patriarchy, in regions with low literacy and weak economic status, patriarchal norms remain extremely strong.
Among our target communities, these patriarchal values are firmly rooted. Gender discrimination is highly prevalent. Women have little to no power in family or community-level decision-making. Although they shoulder most responsibilities, they remain the worst sufferers.
In the communities where we work, women not only cook, care for children, and manage the household, but also contribute significantly to the family income. In contrast, many men take minimal responsibility towards their families. Female children are often neglected, while boys receive better food, clothing, education, and other facilities.
To address these concerns and promote women’s emancipation, we organize the following activities:
- Women’s Meetings and Seminars:
To make women aware of their inner strength and the importance of equal rights and opportunities with men. - Awareness on Legal Provisions:
Educating women about existing government laws and schemes designed to protect and empower them. We provide them legal support - Micro Savings and Credit Program: We provide them Micro Savings and Credit facility so that the women can start their women business
- Nutritional Support for Pregnant Women:
We are providing nutritious food to improve maternal health and reduce malnutrition. - Skill Development Training:
Organizing various vocational and livelihood training sessions to help women become self-reliant and economically independent.
