Socio-Cultural skill development of the disadvantaged children

At present we are working in 4 slums communities and 3 rural schedule Tribes communities. In each places we are encouraging children to learn cultural activities like local folk dance, rhymes, group games, educative exposure visits etc which provide them to group with new skills and joy. They also participate in cultural performances out of their communities that bring them confidence, knowledge and joy. The exposure to cultural events on greater platforms bring pride to the parents also which help them in turning their interest in new areas. Thus enrichment in their culture through exposure and excellence to have better education and become a better and productive future citizens of the country. We take them to Industrial and Technology museum, Neheru Children’s museum, Amusement parks etc. that extend the mental horizon of the disadvantaged children.

We observe national Day like Republic Day , Independence Day, Tagore’s birth day and other social reformers birth day like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, Swami Vivekananda etc. to offer the children knowledge about National history, social tradition and value inputs.
